Specialist Dr. Özgür GÖZLÜKLÜ completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul. He entered Istanbul University Capa Dentistry Faculty in 2007 and completed it with a degree in 2012. In the same year, he started to work as an assistant in the oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic of the faculty. In 2013, he was entitled to be appointed as a research assistant to the Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery at Izmir Katip Celebi University.
During the specialization training; He took rotation trainings in emergency medicine, anesthesiology and reanimation, otolaryngology, plastic and reconstructive surgery clinics and participated in surgeries. He completed his specialization training here in 2017; He successfully completed his thesis named "Comparison of the effects of 2 different kinesiotape techniques on pain, edema and trismus after bilateral impacted mandibular third molar surgery" She became a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has many oral and written statements published in congresses, meetings and symposiums at home and abroad, and articles published in international refereed journals.
Reconstruction of inadequate jaw bones and treatment with implants are among his areas of interest. In addition to chin aesthetics and advanced implant operations; also routinely performs classical jaw surgery procedures such as impacted tooth extractions, oral cysts and gingival operations. In addition to these, temporamandibular joint (jaw joint) disorders and bruxism (teeth clenching) treatment are among his fields of study.
